We are using one 16*2 lcd in this project interfaced with arduino. One IR led & one photo transistor is using to detect measuring speed of disc. Disc is 50% black & 50% transparent. As disc rotate it will pass light from transparent & will block light as bl of disc. Now we can check how many time times light interrupt occur. Now make some math calculation & speed will appear on lcd.
